The podcast and practical guide to digital accessibility.
Digital accessibility is the ability of a website, an application or a digital document to be used independently by anyone, without technical, physical or environmental barriers: with a screen reader, in keyboard-only mode, with a magnifier or in poor lighting.
Is this about ethics? Yes, but also legal compliance and business opportunity.
The accessibility of websites and digital content is part of corporate communication that truly speaks to every stakeholder, and a concrete building block of sustainability and inclusion strategies.

Frequently asked questions about digital accessibility
Do digital accessibility requirements apply to my company?
It depends on your sector and size. The European Accessibility Act applies to many businesses offering digital products and services to consumers, such as e-commerce, banking and transport; microenterprises providing services are exempt. With an accessibility audit we assess your position together.
What is the European Accessibility Act?
It is Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services, transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree 82/2022. Since 28 June 2025 its requirements apply to many digital products and services aimed at consumers.
What does the Stanca Law say about website accessibility?
Italian Law 4/2004 governs the accessibility of websites, applications and IT tools of the Public Administration, and has been extended to certain large private entities.
What are the AgID guidelines on digital accessibility?
The guidelines of AgID (the Italian Digital Agency) on the accessibility of IT tools set out technical requirements aligned with WCAG, verification methods and rules for the accessibility statement where required.
Is an accessibility plug-in enough?
Overlay tools can offer useful adjustments, such as contrast and text size, but they do not fix code and content at the source. WCAG compliance requires working on the website and testing its accessibility with assistive technologies: that is what remediation does.
What happens after the accessibility audit?
You receive a report listing accessibility barriers by priority, with an action plan. From there we can handle the remediation, support your team or train the people who manage your content.
What about corporate PDFs that are already published?
We analyse them and assess whether it is better to fix them or regenerate them from the source file. For new documents we set up templates and workflows that produce accessible PDFs from the start, as part of corporate reporting communication.
What does ongoing digital accessibility support include?
Long-term support: periodic accessibility checks on new content, assistance for your team and updates whenever your website, documents or regulations change.
